Dane Declerck was born in Brussels in 1948. After studying multilingual secretarial skills, followed by accountancy at the Belgian Chamber of Accountants and a Degree in English from Oxford University, she embarked on a career as an executive assistant in a wide range of companies in all sectors. She ended her career by specialising as a legal secretary.
