Based in Brussels, The Soul of Europe is an international non-profit association (AISBL).

Its mission is to make Europe an integral part of our daily lives and our imaginations, in three ways:

Art and culture

To share and disseminate past and contemporary artistic visions and creations by artists from member countries, through exhibitions, concerts, symposia and publications...

History and traditions

Discover what has shaped us through the centuries to better understand the points of view and reactions of each individual to major social, economic and environmental issues...

Environement

To support the ecological and societal transition by providing a sound box for ideas and actions emerging in all parts of the European Union, and to spread them more widely...

OUR FILIATION

"Born in 2021, the Soul of Europe claims to be a direct descendant of the Coordination Commitee for the Celebration of the Treaty of Rome (COCEROME).
From 1998 to 2008, this organization annually celebrated the legacy of Europe's founding fathers with a major symphony concert, in the presence of European Commission President Jacques Santer."

WHAT WE THINK

The Soul of Europe is militant by nature!

Its aim is to build a shared feeling of belonging and solidarity, away from nationalism, so that the European Union becomes definitively one and undivisible, united and resilient.

It will help European citizens realise thatEurope is their natural space, much wider and richer than the national territories.

It will use the calendar of rotating presidencies to highlight the diversity of our cultures, and develop actions in the fields of culture and environmental protection, because the first brings people together and the second safeguards our children's future...
